The begining

Jerry Stevens captivated me from the start. I met this guy in a law enforcement/correctional setting during a time when he was attempting to get clean from a 30 + year heroin addiction. I might get into the specifics of our relationship later. This blog is an attempt to get his amazing life out to the public in hopes to inspire, entertain and encourage. Next Tuesday I will meet with Jerry to decide on how best to layout his life. I'm not a writer. I'm just transporting these stories from Jerry to you. Stay tuned to see how this guy's life unfolds. You'll get to see and understand how he came to spend a great deal of his life locked up. He was the very definition of the word "institutionalized".
